Silverstone in-season Formula 1 test open to general public

British Formula 1 fans will get the opportunity to see F1 cars up close and personal on more than one occasion this season, as the Silverstone in-season test will be open to the general public. The Northamptonshire based circuit, home to the British Grand Prix, will play host to the second in-season test of 2016. The first will be held at Spain's Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with each taking place on the Tuesday and Wednesday after their respective races. The circuit has confirmed that the public can attend the test if they wish, with tickets expected to go on sale in a few weeks.
