Original source addresses Manor three driver rumour
A rumour that broke today about the possibility of Manor running three drivers in their second cockpit has been refuted by the site that broke the original story. With Pascal Wehrlein confirmed as one of Manor's two drivers for 2016, the wait for the second driver announcement continues with several drivers seemingly in the running for the seat. While Alexander Rossi appears confident that he has landed the second seat, he remains unconfirmed. Indonesia's Rio Haryanto is also a shoe-in for the drive, with the Indonesian government apparently set to sponsor his drive, aided by a crowd funding initiative. 2015 race driver Will Stevens is also still a candidate for the drive.
