Renault reserve Ocon gets Mercedes DTM seat
GP3 Media Service Renault reserve driver Esteban Ocon will race for Mercedes in DTM this year, replacing Manor-bound reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein. Ocon, who received further backing from Mercedes after his GP3 title triumph in 2015, will line up for the manufacturer in the German touring car series. "It’s an incredible feeling to be part of such a professional and strong racing series," said Ocon, 19. "I’m very pleased to be driving for Mercedes-Benz.
