Renault relaunches driver academy with Rowland

Renault has launched a new racing academy to help support and develop young talent across different disciplines of motorsport, with reigning Formula Renault 3.5 series champion being backed as he moves into the GP2 Series. Rowland, alongside 2015 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and Formula Renault 2.0 Alps winner Jack Aitken, Formula Renault 2.0 NEC winner Louis Delétraz and runner-up Kevin Joerg, will be supported by the French manufacturer's new Renault Sport Racing in their 2016 campaigns. Rowland moves into GP2, Deletraz graduates into the newly formed Formula V8 3.5 while Aitken and Joerg both step up to the GP3 series with each driver given specific targets.
