Renault Sport unveils R.S.16 challenger

Renault Sport Renault Sport has unveiled its challenger for the 2016 campaign, the R.S.16, during a ceremony at its Guyancourt base on Wednesday. Renault confirmed in December that it would be returning to the sport after taking over the Lotus squad, which it previously ran between 2001 and 2010. The 2016 machine will be known as the R.S.16 and will make its track debut during the first pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on February 22. It will be raced by Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer, with Esteban Ocon providing back-up as reserve.
