Ecclestone believes US GP will go ahead

Bernie Ecclestone is confident that the 2016 United States Grand Prix will go ahead despite the circuit only being ‘provisionally' included on this year's calendar. The United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas had question marks over it's place in Formula One after the latest Formula One calendar labelled the race as ‘provisional' owing to funding issues. The funding problems are a result of the drop in spectators for the 2015 race, which was the effect of tropical thunderstorms plaguing that weekend.
