McLaren-Honda MP4-31 launch date set
McLaren has confirmed it will launch its 2016 Formula 1 contender on February 21st, the day before pre-season testing gets underway in Spain. The team will enter into the second season of its revived collaboration with Honda looking to bounce back from a dismal 2015 campaign headlined persistent reliability problems and an underpowered power unit. Suffering its worst season since 1980 as it laboured to ninth in the constructors' standings, McLaren-Honda will nonetheless persevere with the same driver line-up of Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button, with Stoffel Vandoorne assuming reserve driver duties.
