McLaren adds Capito to management team

– McLaren Racing has confirmed the signing of Volkswagen Motorsport Director Jost Capito as its new Chief Executive Officer, with Jonathan Neale becoming Chief Operating Officer at McLaren Technology.Capito has worked for Porsche, BMW and Ford and has fronted Volkswagen's successful WRC period, in which it has romped to three successive championships between 2013 and 2015.A McLaren statement confirmed that "the timing of these moves will be actioned in 2016 in agreement with Jost's current employer, and a further announcement will follow in due course."Neale has been McLaren's acting CEO and will now move to become COO at McLaren's technology division; both Neale and Capito...
