Pirelli announces F1 tyre choices for Russian GP

Pirelli has announced its three compound choices for the Russian Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2016 Formula 1 season. The Italian manufacturer will take the supersoft, the soft and the medium tyres to the Sochi race, the same compounds chosen for the first three races of the season. Also like in the first three races, the soft and the medium will be the mandatory compounds that will need to be used at some point during the race. The supersoft tyres have been assigned for Q3. Under new regulations, all drivers need to save a set of supersofts for Q3.
