‘McLaren' film director seeks public's help
The renowned director behind the upcoming Bruce McLaren documentary film is calling upon the public for help. A documentary about the life and career of McLaren founder Bruce McLaren is currently in production in New Zealand, overseen by director Roger Donaldson. Donaldson, famous for movies such as The Bank Job, The Recruit & Species, is on the hunt for rare material of the Kiwi motorsport legend. Materials wanted include photographs, home movies & audio clips of McLaren, who was killed in one of his own Can-Am cars at Goodwood in 1970. According to the producers, there are ‘treasures yet to be located, possibly in England where he lived'. The film is due for release this year...
