Wolff says exposure from F1 worth $3-billion to Mercedes

Mercedes has no thoughts whatsoever about reassessing its commitment to Formula 1, with team chief Toto Wolff claiming that exposure for the team last season was worth $3-billion. The German carmaker left McLaren to become its own works team at the start of the decade, and in the new ‘power unit' era has been utterly dominant. That recent success, however, has been thanks to a huge annual budget spent by the team on their programme and their high profile drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, but Wolff insists it is worth every cent and more.
