Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren selected for wet-tyre test

Pirelli has confirmed that Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren have been selected to take part in their wet-weather test at the Paul Ricard circuit later this month. The sole tyre supplier is keen to improve its full-wet tyres and was granted a two-day test by the FIA in order to do so. Pirelli will try various prototypes during the test which will run on January 25 and 26.   Unlike the season ending Abu Dhabi tyre test in which all teams were allowed to participate, Pirelli has selected just three to attend in order to better focus its efforts.
