Vandoorne to drive for McLaren at Pirelli test
McLaren will field GP2 Champion Stoffel Vandoorne at the Pirelli test at Paul Ricard at the end of January. McLaren, Ferrari & Red Bull are all confirmed participants at the two day wet tyre test at La Castellet in southern France. Scheduled for the 25th & 26th January, McLaren are the first team to announce a driver for the special wet running test. Stoffel Vandoorne, who tested for McLaren at the in-season test at the Red Bull Ring last summer, will drive as the team confirmed on Twitter: TWITTER SCOOP: Stoffel Vandoorne confirmed for the @pirellisport two-day wet tyre test at @PaulRicardTrack. #GoStoff pic.twitter.com/NTxoQ4zdky — McLaren (@McLarenF1) January 11, 2016
