Ferrari, Red Bull, McLaren chosen for Pirelli wet tyre test

Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren have been selected to participate in Pirelli's wet tyre test at Paul Ricard circuit on 25-26 January. The two-day test will exclusively concentrate on wet tyres and no intermediates or dry tyres will be used as Pirelli plans to experiment with different wet prototypes. The three F1 teams selected to take part in the test are Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren with the official list of drivers expected to be confirmed in the coming days. The tyre test marks a return to action in F1 after the winter break, with the first official F1 pre-season test running between the 22-25 February which is open to all F1 teams.
