Steiner: Haas line-up boosts credibility
– Haas Team Principal Guenther Steiner says that the outfit's decision to recruit Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutiérrez enhances its credibility, as it ramps up its efforts for its maiden season in Formula 1.Haas maintained throughout its driver evaluation process that it would not be chasing a funded name and instead required someone with experience of racing in Formula 1.Haas convinced Grosjean, who started 83 races for the Lotus/Renault operation, to act as its lead driver, and Steiner believes the Frenchman's reputation has boosted its status."I think that it gave us a lot of credibility," Steiner told GPUpdate.net, regarding the signing of Grosjean."In hindsight,...
