You could have been forgiven for thinking that Formula 1 had gone back in time over recent weeks, as talk of grand prix racing's 'double diffusers' returned seven years after the affair first surfaced. The brief controversy about the design innovation that proved one of the key components of Brawn's 2009 title campaign had long passed into F1 history for many.
