Minardi: Alonso & Prost target signing for Renault

Former Minardi boss Giancarlo Minardi says that Renault are looking to re-sign Fernando Alonso to their squad, and are targetting Alain Prost as a team manager. Writing on his website, Minardi claims that Renault/Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn is attempting to attract Fernando Alonso away from McLaren. Alonso won his two World Championships with the French marque in 2005/2006 & re-joined the Enstone squad in 2008 after his tumultuous year with McLaren in 2007. Alonso is currently contracted to McLaren, but another poor year like 2015 could tempt the Spaniard to return to his former home.
