Pirelli announces Bahrain, China tyre choices

– Pirelli has announced that it will make available its Super Soft, Soft and Medium tyre compounds for the 2016 Bahrain and Chinese Grands Prix, the same as the season-opening race in Australia.For 2016, each driver will receive 13 dry-weather sets per Grand Prix, with Pirelli choosing two sets for the race (only one of which must be used), and a set of the softest compound, only for use in Q3.Drivers are free to select any combination of the chosen compounds for the other 10 sets.At the opening three rounds in Australia, Bahrain and China, drivers must keep one set of the Super Soft tyre for the final qualifying phase, along with a set of both the Soft and Medium tyres for the...
