Mercedes boss backs ‘ideal' driver pairing

Toto Wolff has moved to damped speculation that Mercedes may look to reassess their driver line-up by describing the Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg pairing as 'ideal'. Mercedes dominated the 2015 season although the harmony in the team was often punctuated by high-profile spats between the drivers. However, Wolff has offered his backing to the pair, insisting that their differences helps makes Mercedes as strong a team as possible. “If we had two Hamiltons, the team would have probably exploded,' said Wolff.
