McLaren working weekends to catch up - Dennis

McLaren chairman Ron Dennis says his team are working "night and day" as well as weekends to close the gap to their rivals next year, following a tough 2015 season. The Woking-based team reunited with both Honda and Fernando Alonso this year, with many expecting the partnership to produce promising results. However the team scored just 27 points, failed to get on the podium and suffered horrendous reliability. Dennis insists they are doing everything they can to get back on top, including working round the clock, though he suggested the problems were almost exclusively down to engine supplier Honda.
