Juncadella wins Mercedes Stars Cars event, Hamilton third
DTM driver Daniel Juncadella has been crowned the inaugural Stars & Cars champion at Mercedes' end-of-season event in Stuttgart, while Lewis Hamilton was eliminated in his semi-final by eventual runner-up, Pascal Wehrlein. Featuring a competitive element for the very first time, Juncadella beat 2015 DTM champion and Mercedes F1 tester, Wehrlein 2-0 in the best-of-three final. “I'm absolutely delighted,” said Juncadella. “I felt really comfortable in the SLS AMG GT3 and found a good rhythm.
