Button considered quitting F1 after 2015

Jenson Button has admitted he considered retiring from Formula 1 at the end of the 2015 season after the difficulties McLaren went through. The Briton only committed to a new contract for 2016 with the Woking team after weeks of uncertainty about his future plans. Button conceded struggling at the back of the field all season made him think twice before deciding to stay on in F1. "Last year I wasn't sure if I'd be racing and it wasn't my choice," Button told Sky Sports. "This year it was totally my choice and there was a moment where I thought 'I not sure I want to do this anymore and be where we are'.
