McLaren renews Santander partnership

– McLaren-Honda has announced a five-year extension to its long-standing partnership with leading bank Santander UK, signing a new agreement until the end of 2020.McLaren was recently dealt a sponsorship blow when it lost Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer to Red Bull, which will run a TAG-branded Renault engine during the 2016 season.Media reports suggested that Santander – which joined McLaren's sponsorship portfolio back in 2007 – was also set to depart, but the outfit confirmed details of a fresh deal on Wednesday.In addition, Santander will retain its close links with McLaren-Honda driver Jenson Button, who has appeared in a number campaigns and television adverts for the...
