Shell: Our fuel worth 0.5 sec a lap to Ferrari

Ferrari fuel supplier Shell claim their fuels and lubricant technology gains over 2015 contributed around 0.5 second a lap performance gain to the team. According to the Dutch energy giant, five different blends of fuel were introduced to the SF-15T throughout the season. These added up to a ‘25% performance gain' throughout the year, adding up to around 30 seconds over a race distance, according to their own figures.
