Analysis: Azerbaijan's plan to make the F1 race pay off

Azerbaijan will be joining the F1 calendar next year but, without any racing culture and very limited availability of tickets, can the new European GP become a success story? Kate Walker investigates. The current era of Formula 1 can be seen as a period of expansion, with the sport adding new countries to the calendar on a quasi-annual basis since the turn of the millennium.
