Valtteri Bottas loses Finnish battle: ‘We need to raise our game'

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Williams' Valtteri Bottas may have led the battle of the Finns for fourth in the Driver's Championship heading to Yas Marina, but a disastrous race put paid to any hope of finishing ahead of the Ferrari. While beating Raikkonen to P4 would have been difficult anyway as the Ferrari man took a convincing podium position, Bottas was never in a position to challenge after his race fell apart at his first pit stop. Released from his pit box after his stop, Williams had misjudged the closing speed of the pitting Jenson Button from McLaren.
