Button: ‘We thought Q3 might be possible'

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Despite Jenson Button praising his McLaren-Honda, the Briton couldn't help but feel disappointed to have missed out on a place in the third part of qualifying. In McLaren-Honda's troublesome return to the sport, Button was able to progress to Q2 for only the sixth time this season and came close to progressing to the final part of qualifying, falling only a couple of tenths shy of the two Toro Rosso drivers ahead.
