Vettel accepts misjudgement after shock Q1 exit

Scuderia Ferrari Sebastian Vettel accepted that he and Ferrari made a misjudgement after a shock exit from the first part of qualifying for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Vettel had set a time on Prime tyres which he and the outfit believed would be sufficient to progress into Q2, but Option-shod rivals improved their times and demoted the German racer to 16th place. "Nothing wrong with the car, we thought that the lap I had on the Soft (Prime) tyres was quick enough, but in the end it was not," he said.
