Stroll joins Williams driver development scheme

Williams Martini Racing Formula 3 youngster Lance Stroll has joined Williams' driver development scheme, ending the Canadian's long-term association with Ferrari. Stroll finished in fifth position during his maiden campaign in Formula 3, in which he will race once more in 2016, and has now joined Williams. Stroll will conduct extensive simulator duties, work placements in Williams' factory, as well as race engineering and marketing training. "I'm really honoured to be part of such a great team and one with so much history and success," said Stroll. "I cannot wait to start working with Williams and very much hope we can achieve great things together in the coming years....
