Stroll joins Williams development scheme
– Williams has signed Canadian racer Lance Stroll to its young driver development scheme.Stroll, a race winner in European Formula 3, will carry out a varied programme in 2016, including extensive simulator work, in a role similar to current racer Valtteri Bottas' when the Finn joined the team.Stroll will combine his Formula 1 duties with a second Formula 3 campaign at Prema Powerteam."I'm really honoured to be part of such a great team and one with so much history and success," said Stroll."I cannot wait to start working with Williams and very much hope we can achieve great things together."It's a very exciting and crucial time in my short motor racing career....
