Lotus delays Abu Dhabi scrutineering

– Lotus will need to present its cars for scrutineering ahead of Friday's first practice session in Abu Dhabi, after the stewards allowed the team to delay the procedure on Thursday.Some of Lotus' freight only arrived at the Yas Marina Circuit on Thursday morning, leaving team members in a race against time to unpack equipment and prepare both cars."The stewards have received a request from Lotus F1 Team for a waiver, under Article 24.2 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations, in respect of the scrutineering of cars 8 and 13," read a stewards' statement."The stewards agree that cars 8 [Romain Grosjean] and 13 [Pastor Maldonado] must undergo scrutineering before the...
