Raikkonen hopes to fight for 2016 title

Scuderia Ferrari Kimi Raikkonen is hopeful that Ferrari will be able to mount a sustained title challenge to current champions Mercedes in 2016. Ferrari endured a dismal 2014 campaign as Formula 1 switched to 1.6 litre v6 power units but made substantial progress across the winter to emerge as Mercedes' primary threat, with Sebastian Vettel winning three races. "Obviously this year has been a lot stronger year from the team than previous year and you can easily see it from whichever way you look at it and it all comes to next year," said Raikkonen.
