Daniil Kvyat: “It’s a good track to drive”

Daniil Kvyat has fond memories of the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi that hosts the season finale of the Formula 1 season next weekend, with the Russian driver having secured the GP3 Series championship at the track in 2013. The Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver secured the crown with a victory in race one, and returned to the track to qualify an excellent fifth for the Scuderia Toro Rosso team in 2014 before seeing his race ended early by a mechanical failure, but the young Russian believes it is a good track to drive. “I generally enjoy most tracks and in one way or another they all have good associations,” said Kvyat. “It’s particularly the case at Yas Marina because I won the...
