Vandoorne continues to break GP2 records

Stoffel Vandoorne enjoyed another successful weekend in the GP2 Series as he continues his impressive record-breaking career in the championship. McLaren's reserve driver for 2016 had already secured the first place in the championship prior to this weekend's penultimate event in Bahrain, but Vandoorne's season-long form is highlighting him as one of GP2's greats. The Belgian took victory in the Bahrain Feature race – which helped secured the Teams' Championship – and followed that up with a second-place finish in the Sprint race, breaking records in the process.
