2016 F1 pre-season test dates revealed 2016 Formula 1 pre-season testing will take place exclusively at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, the track, which will host the Grand Prix of Spain on May 5, will be the site of two separate testing periods. Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be the only track that hosts testing for F1. 2016 Pre-season testing periods will run from Feb. 22 – 25 and then March 1 – 4. Race tickets providers for the Spanish Grand Prix will be given free access to all eight days of pre-season testing, even as tickets can also be purchased on each day at the track.
