Barcelona confirms pre-season test dates

– Formula 1 pre-season testing will take place exclusively at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya next year, over a pair of four-day outings, track officials have formally confirmed.As reported by GPUpdate.net earlier this year, the Montmeló circuit will stage two tests from February 22-25 and March 1-4, with fellow Spanish venue Jerez no longer featuring.Holders of race tickets for the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix will be given free access to all eight days of pre-season testing, while tickets can also be purchased on the day at the track.
