Coulthard wants 'gloves-off' Mercedes fight
– Multiple Grand Prix winner turned broadcaster David Coulthard has called on Mercedes to allow its drivers to choose their own strategies for a "gloves-off" race at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.Although both Mercedes drivers are free to race each other, the team currently gives the lead car priority at the pit-stops, and does not allow the second car to stray from a pre-determined strategy.This approach came under the spotlight during the recent races in Mexico and Brazil, with Lewis Hamilton denied the opportunity to change his strategy in an attempt to overhaul Nico Rosberg.However, with both world titles secured, and Rosberg confirmed in second position, Coulthard wants to...
