Valtteri Bottas: “We were missing pace today”

Valtteri Bottas admitted his Williams Martini Racing team will need to seek answers to why the team were lacking pace during the Brazilian Grand Prix after finishing a lapped fifth during Sunday’s race. Bottas had started seventh at Interlagos but made a excellent start to move up to fifth, and was not able to progress any further, but the Finnish driver admitted the team could be proud of their achievements after securing third place in the Constructors’ Championship. “The start was the most exciting part of the race for me as I gained a few places,” said Bottas. “After that I just had to maintain the tyres and make them work on a two-stop strategy. “We were missing pace today...
