Massa disqualified over tyre irregularity

Williams Martini Racing Williams' Felipe Massa has been disqualified from the Brazilian Grand Prix due to an irregularity over the temperature of his right rear tyre when it was checked on the grid. Massa's right rear tyre was found to be 137°c, 27°c over the 110°c limit permitted by Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli. Massa's corresponding tyre pressure was registered at 20.6 PSI, 0.1 PSI above the minimum starting pressure.
