Rosberg moves ahead in second Brazil session

Mercedes AMG Petronas Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg moved to the front of the pack during Friday’s second practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos. During flying laps on Option tyres, Rosberg clocked a 1:12.385, 0.458s clear of team-mate Lewis Hamilton, reversing their positions compared to the first session. Rosberg briefly complained of problems when upshifting from second to third gear but the issue appeared to be quickly resolved, though he later went wide at Juncao and had to take to the grass.
