Hamilton leads proceedings in Brazil FP1 – Report

Lewis Hamilton set the standard during the first practice at Sao Paulo, as the Englishman led the time-sheets by half a second over Rosberg, followed by Vettel in the Ferrari. As the session started, it was the Mercedes who quickly picked up where they left off in Mexico City, and seized to the top of the time-sheets. After the first round of stops, it was Hamilton who led Rosberg was 0.021, as it was clear it was going to be a closely contested challenge between the two Mercedes drivers. After Vettel's nightmare at Mexico City, it was straight up to third for the Ferrari driver, some six tenths shy of pacesetter Hamilton.
