Ferrari Recommence Potential Engine Deal With Red Bull

The Italian team Ferrari has contradicted its policy on aiding Red Bull with its engine crisis. Ferrari have been reported to have a similar opinion as its rival Mercedes and McLaren Honda on supplying Red Bull next season. However, Red Bull’s junior team Toro Rosso has in fact been offered to sign a 2015-spec engine deal with Ferrari which could mean the senior team will follow suit. “The possibility of cooperating with Red Bull remains an option but not in the context of them having an engine equivalent to what is used by Ferrari,” Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne said at the Finali Mondiali event at Mugello. “So there is a willingness to provide services as a side project,...
