Pirelli confirms Abu Dhabi F1 tyre test
Pirelli has confirmed it will run a one-day tyre test in Abu Dhabi after the final race of the Formula 1 season. The test will take place on December 1, the Tuesday after the season finale, at the Yas Marina, from 9am to 9pm. It will be used exclusively for tyre development work and teams will not be allowed to test new parts or alter their cars during the day. Pirelli said it has suggested the teams to only run race or reserve drivers in the test, although, as reported by Motorsport.com, rookies will also be allowed.
