Hamilton hints Mercedes wanted Rosberg win

Mercedes AMG's Lewis Hamilton told reporters in Mexico that Mercedes are being ‘extra warm' to Nico Rosberg since his defeat in the US. Lewis Hamilton was not a particularly happy man during the Mexican Grand Prix. Both drivers appeared to have embarked in the race on a similar one stop strategy, but the team then chose to call both men in for a second, precautionary stop – such was their level of domination. While Rosberg pitted first, Lewis Hamilton questioned the decision to pit again over team radio, believing that his tyres were of adequately good condition to keep racing to the end.
