Button powerless to stop passes in painful Mexican GP Jenson Button has described his Mexican Grand Prix as 'painful' as his McLaren-Honda just did not have the speed to challenge; the Brit ended a hard weekend for the McLaren with 14th place in the race. Button started race 20th on the grid following 70 place grid-penalties for changing engine unit, the Brit’s McLaren-Honda machine lacked too much strait-line speed to make progress during the race, with only the two Manor cars finishing behind the British driver.
