Kimi Raikkonen: “We had a pretty poor weekend”

Kimi Raikkonen reflected on a disappointing weekend in Mexico after finding himself eliminated early on after a second clash in three races with fellow Finn Valtteri Bottas. The Scuderia Ferrari driver had already started from the back row of the grid following an engine change, and had been fighting through the field, but a move into turn four by Bottas on fresher tyres saw Raikkonen’s rear suspension break, ending his afternoon. “About the accident with Bottas, there are always two different ways to look at things, everybody can have their own view, but to be honest I did not expect a much different end result,” said Raikkonen. “It’s racing in the end, but I think I was...
