Kimi Raikkonen & Valtteri Bottas play polite blame game
Mexican Grand Prix – Scuderia Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen has hinted that Williams' Valtteri Bottas might have caused their clash in Mexico on purpose, but didn't go as far as directly blaming his compatriot for the clash. The pair tangled on Lap 22, fighting over P6. Raikkonen had started on the Medium compound tyre, while Valtteri Bottas had already pitted for fresh tyres 12 laps prior to the incident. Having found momentum around the outside of Raikkonen, Bottas stuck his Williams inside the Ferrari for the next apex only to be cut off by his fellow countryman.
