Both Ferrari drivers retire on dismal day for the Scuderia

Mexican Grand Prix – Scuderia Ferrari's return to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez was one to forget, as both drivers retired through driving errors. Starting from P3 with Sebastian Vettel & P15 with Kimi Raikkonen, with the Finn starting on the Medium tyres, prospects were reasonable for the team as the lights went out at the start of the race. Within moments, Vettel was left with an uphill task as he clashed with Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo at the apex of Turn 1. The Ferrari's right rear tyre was punctured, and he had to circulate slowly and pit at the end of the first lap. Vettel then set about recovering and had just claimed P11 from Carlos Sainz when he spun off on Lap 17....
