Raikkonen to start towards back after gearbox change
Kimi Raikkonen will start towards the back of the Mexican Grand Prix grid after a gearbox change after FP3 was followed by an early exit in qualifying. The Finn's Ferrari stopped on track mid-way through FP3, forcing the team into a race against time to get him out for qualifying as it fitted a new gearbox. Leaving him with a five-place grid penalty prior to qualifying, Raikkonen then suffered a spin during Q2 after reporting brake problems. Ending his session early, he was placed 15th on the timesheets but the penalty will demote him further.
