Force India throws support behind Hulkenberg

Force India has promised to do all it can to ensure that Nico Hulkenberg's confidence is not dented by his recent run of incidents in Formula 1. The German's retirement from Austin after a collision with Daniel Ricciardo was his third DNF due to a crash in four races. He also spun out at the first corner in Russia, while also having been handed a grid penalty for the Japanese Grand Prix after a clash with Felipe Massa in Singapore. Force India deputy team principal Bob Fernley said the team was fully behind him, and was mindful that it didn't want the German to change his approach.
